My youngest granddaughter Maia, named my kitty "Meow" when she was playing with her as 'that was the sound she made’. Meow was leash trained and I would take her for walks in the park and when I got strange looks from people I would just shrug and say
‘she thinks she’s a dog’. The brat wouldn’t answer to anything else so I am stuck with calling "Meow" and feeling silly when she is outside! She is a diva and I am her trained pet.
My rambunctious, full of beans (actually he's full of Jimbo's & has a voracious appetite :D ), live wired, loving & lovable Boots. The first is his latest 'selfie' pic & the second is just too cute - he's hugging one (of many) of his toys, a knitted mouse.
Here we have Buddy (12), Rocky (5) and Geva (she rules the roost). All are rescues. The only wet food Geva will eat is Jimbo's Veal. The dogs will eat anything so I will be buying Jimbo's Surf and Turf Medallions as a special treat.
Hi Jimbo's team,
Thank you for your awesome products, both my dog and cat love it. Here is Cookie, a Bedlington Terrier, with her favourite puppy food. We always mix her biscuits with Jimbo's Puppy meat, she loves it. Looking forward to more new products.
This is Pearl. My eight-year-old daughter named her that as she has a white patch under her neck. Pearl is a cuddly, cruisy cat. We adopted her from Julie's Animal Refuge in Kaipara Flats when she was a kitten. She is very playful and is 18-months-old now. We love her loads!! :-)
This is Sassy posing on ANZAC Day before the dawn ceremony in Whangamata. She is proudly wearing her Purple poppy.
Purple poppies are to remember and commemorate all the animals who gave their lives at war ;(
This is Squirrel, she is approximately thirteen years old now. She came to us as a stray and the vet estimated she was just a year old at that time. Her favourite Jimbo’s petfood is Veal - it’s one of the few meals she is guaranteed to finish!
My name's Michael - my owner's kids named me Michael Jackson as I was born around the same time he passed away. People laugh at my name but I didn’t have a choice!
I am a big boy and very chilled and I totally love my food. When I’m not eating I’m am sleeping! I am a good hunter and often bring my owners what I catch!
When I go to the vet they tell me I’m a handsome boy.
Here are a couple of pictures of my new kitten Zoe. We have had her for about a month now and she just loves curling up with the dogs for a lovely warm nap.
First photo: I got this snap yesterday when I found her being cuddled by her big ginger brother Derek - it's just so sweet. They stayed like that for about an hour.
Second photo: Zoe with her big sister Lily.
I found Felix (black & white in a rubbish dump as a kitten. And Womble (tabby) just turned up with her family, five kittens. I gave the kittens to cats protection, had Womble fixed up. The name of Womble eventuated from never being home except to eat and sleep at night. Daytime she's off up the village or out across the paddocks bringing home all the mice and lets the go in the house. We are forever alert. Felix is twelve now and 7kg. Womble is three and three and a half kg.
These are piccy's of two of my four pussy cats. The kitty lying on the toaster (good think I didn't want toast!) Is Twiglet, a four year old Tonkinese. She is a mean, lean killing machine & brings me rodent corpses as gifts several times a day.Very thoughtful girl. Birds are out of the question as she wears 3 bells on her collar to warn them off. She is very affectionate and I adore my baby girl.
We recently adopted 2 rescue kittens who have just settled in so well. Our little girl likes to think she's the boss. They have a bed each though she still wants the one her big brother is on...
Meet Bonnie & Clyde
Here is a photo of my two cats. We are kiwis currently living in Melbourne with them but are shifting back to New Zealand in three weeks and I cannot wait to introduce them to Jimbo's - all of our other cats have eaten and loved this food!
This is Bebe, a ten-year-old moggy who has loved her daily Jimbo's for most of her life. I even adapted the jingle to 'every Bebe loves Jimbo's' in honour of her dedication to her daily meaty treat.
At precisely 3pm every day Bebe expects to be fed. If I'm not home demands are made as soon as I walk in the door - if things are moving too slow she will let me know! This can be in what can only be described as the 'I'm a starving cat' cry or by sitting on me so when I move she can direct me to her plate.
This is my 1-and-a-half year old British Short Hair, Richard. He is an indoor cat but always loves to hang out with us in our backyard.
I noticed that he loved raw meat more rather than the biscuits when he was little and started to feed him with a variety of meats.
Look at his shiny coat and full tummy of Jimbo's Kangaroo!
So the little ginger fellow is Ronald. He's sitting next to his dad (which is where he gets his polydactylism from) in the top photo. The last photo is his mum (Maji) and dad (Toes) being adorable and having a smooch.
The young grey cat is our boy Shadow, adopted from the vets after being dumped in a gutter. Our older boy, Lucky, is now one year old. We found him last year after a cyclone. Both are sassy cats and love the camera!
Meow got her name through my Granddaughter, Maia, calling her Meow ‘because that is the sound she makes,’ said Maia. Meow and her played together as they both grew up. Oh yes, it is really great for my ego to stand outside and yell ‘Meeeow!’ As a kitten, rewriting my work on the laptop became very interesting as she warmed her butt. My screen saver is all about her.
The mail box was a new experience in our hide and seek games.
Here are two photos of our latest kittens - Bombay breed, all girls. They love a little bit of Jimbo's, especially Beef. We give it to the female queen so that we can get condition back on her and also to help with her milk supply.
Hi there my babies Coco, the 3yrs old Shitzue and Jhett, the 16 month old cat are inseparable! Jhett pants like a dog and gives me a high five, and Coco is her mum! To this day Coco took her as her own and would carry her around and doesn’t like her going outside! Coco will still drag in Jhett from outside, and Jhett lets her!
They’re soo cute together, I never thought I could be in love with furbabies but these two are so special to me!! I can’t imagine my life without them and I'm the luckiest mum in the world!!
Here is one of our cats (we have 4!) Missy, she is day dreaming about Jimbo's Kangaroo meat! She loves it and refuses to eat anything else! Also one of our dogs (we have 7) Sam, hes our lazy farm dog who loves trailer rides.
Archie came home with me from the SPCA. After breaking out of his cage & pretty much saying "Come on lady let's go!", I struggled to find him cat food he would eat. After many failed attempts at different brands, a friend turned up one day with a Jimbos container with her young son's colouring pencils in (gota love the reusable containers). Archie stalked it, then smooched it & almost seemed to hug this container... Right off I went to the shop & got him Jimbo's, cats really do love Jimbo's! That was 10 years ago & we've been buying it ever since.
Hard to tell where Bonnie ends and her favourite blanket begins. I just know she was obviously telling me that she was in her "do not disturb" mode. She's a very special cat, adopted from a friend, who is totally happy to be with her sister Moby in our cat oriented home.
Peppy and Betty my little monsters (Shih Tzu). Miss Betty has decided she does not want todays Menu so off to the Supermarket to get Jimbo's Chicken Mince which once thawed will be cooked up in her favourite stew. Talk about spoilt!
These are our fur friends; Moppit is the long haired beauty & the picture perfect tabby somehow ended up being called Thing. Both where rescued from bad situations years ago, and we are lucky we are allowed to be their humans.
This is Darwin, He's 10, a pretty smoochy, fluffy boy. He's attracted to wool and always wants to sit on anything I'm knitting. His other pastime is staring at me. He's also very keen on nice leather. A cat of good taste!
My name is Eva and I am a 6 year old, part Maine Coon.
Most of the time I think I am a dog and my owners often refer to me as a bit of a clown! I have amazing fetching abilities which often involves stealing clothing and gardening items from the neighbours, a habit I have had for about 4 years now. I especially like soft toys, shoes and hats, although socks are easier to find and usually I will bring them home in pairs.
My dogs Tank, Luka, Koda and Rivah all love jimbos especially veal bone night (the pug has no teeth so he gets fresh veal meat instead. I got my hands on some Jimbos treats and Tank works extra hard at agility for them
This is our 8 month old Harley, a huntaway x kelpie. Second photo she's with our old ratty boy Chong. She grew up with him so they're best mates now. But she doesn't really know her size when it comes to play.
Our fur family love to share this tiny cane basket, all three of them literally piled on top of each other. It's so sweet but they look very uncomfortable! They groom each other, clean out each others' ears and comfort each other. We are blessed to have three cats that get on so well most of the time.
My name is Chili and I'm 11. I was born in London. My parents, brother and sister immigrated to NZ in June this year. I had to live with my Grandparents in Bristol until I had all the medical tests before I could be reunited with my family. They had promised me I could retire in New Zealand and spend my final years chilling out. I arrived in NZ 3 weeks ago and was introduced to Jimbo's meat.
I love it and would be so great to try some Jimbo's Christmas treat.
Hi, This is Diesel the Cat! She likes to hide in small spaces where we can't reach her, Unless we use our secret weapon... JIMBO'S! Diesel knows the 3 sounds that means it's Jimbos time. First, the sound of the fridge door opening. Second, the clinking of the tea spoon's in the draw. And Third but not least, the CRACK of the Jimbo's lid. Diesel can not resist, out she SHOOTS from her hiding spot. She absolutely loves Jimbo's.
Hi, This is my adorable Twiglet! Who loves to pose on her yoga mat in between her stretches. She is a 3 year oldTonkinese x Tortie & talks to me constantly telling me all about the busy day ahead of her or the events which have passed (Usually involves a lot of napping & rat catching) She's a super rodent huntress & often the rats are bigger than her.I love her to the moon & back.
Hi, Meet Smudge! Our Burmese boy, the photos were taken at 10 weeks old, he is now 16 weeks old and growing very quickly. Smudge is a ball of energy and loves being played with and spends a lot of time outside chasing anything that moves.
This is Nina! After having cat biscuits she is only satisfied when she has had Jimbo’s Supreme Premium Beef! This started as a Christmas treat and now is part of her daily diet! It is hard to get the homework done when the cat insists on sleeping on the books.
Hi, This is our Jimbo's loving George! His hobbies also include quite nights on the couch with a red wine! Haha George appeared in our chicken house a few months back as s teeny tiny stray. He’s now very much part of our crazy cat family.
Hollie is a Border Collie cross and is 14 years old. She is still working and will be retiring soon when her owner retires. A few months ago her owner had an accident when his farm vehicle overturned and trapped him in a remote area. Hollie got under the vehicle and stayed with him until help arrived.
This is a picture of my cat Scooter! 7 weeks old who 1 year ago on the 28th May 2017 turned up at our Place under our front deck alone and scared as her mother had moved on and left her, she is our baby not so small anymore only wanting to eat Jimbo's Beef Meat and Cat Biscuits and of course birds.
Lucecat: 13 years old, lives in Whangarei, star sign Leo, loves people! Everyone knows her in the hood; she pops into the hairdressers, doctor's surgery, she loves good food like Jimbo's Veal! She's just delish!
This is Buddy, a real character of a dog. He thinks he is enormous - but in actual fact he is not much bigger than a large cat! We adore him. Here he is climbing a tree on our walk to Fergusson Park in Tauranga.
This is photo of my little girl Jade. She is 1.5-year-old Maltese cross Shihtzu and she is crazy about Jimbo's treats!! This photo was taken 2 months ago, just before she had her first litter of puppies.
Hi, We are 5 year old West Highland Terriers. Nicky & Jack! Who love walks at the reserve and running on the beach with our Mum and Dad.Most of all we love eating the delicious and nutritious Jimbo's for our meals. Thank you.
Hi, This is my son, Andrew, with Zaraphina! Enjoying the sun together . Zaraphina has an immune deficiency disease in her eyes and has to have eye drops every day and wear sunglasses in the sun. She is the most affectionate, adorable, clumsy dog around. Love her to bits.
Kandee in her crazy relaxed state. She loves to sleep with her feet dangling over something or in weird places like the packaging of my new stick vacuum, before I had a chance to get it to the recycling.
This is our cat Cleo. Unfortunately she was hit by a car - but she's a fighter! She is coming along fine, giving us lots of cuddles and purrs when we go to visit her. Hopefully she is home with us soon.
This is my little Lizzy investigating the washing machine. We named her Lizzy as we found her dumped as a tiny kitten in our orchard on Queens Birthday. She is a loved member of our family now and loves her Jimbos!
Hi, This is Sooty! He is a character and his favourite hobbies are photobombing, eating Jimbo’s kangaroo meat (he cannot get enough!) and chasing our other cat around the backyard (in a friendly albeit mischievous fashion!).He is 150% active, thanks to all the good nutrition he gets from Jimbo’s.
This is Ghost who just got the wires removed from his jaw after being hit by a car and suffering a broken jaw, nose and eye socket. Luckily he's made a full recovery and his good looks were unaffected!
